Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. Along with BJJ She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in each fight. She returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records for amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. InvictaFC 11 was her very first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She won the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round in the 2nd. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was her first fight that she's ever had in any significant way. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in some great exchanges with the fighters, received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's third round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
