Sofia Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara is an Colombian actor who was raised and born in Barranquilla. She has a mother named Margarita Vergara Davila de Vergara, has a job as a domestic. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo provides cattle to meat industries. She has five siblings. She was a student at a private bilingual school that taught Spanish as well as English. Then she studied pre-dental. Sofia was found by a cameraman in the beach. After that, she began to work in the field of television and modeling. In her 23rd year when she started modeling, she was discovered as model. Between 1995 and 1998 she was co-hosting a traveling show, Fuera de serie (1995) in which she gained exposure to and around the United States. Her first movie role was in the comedy crime series Big Trouble (2002). Her first big break came in the role of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on the American television series Modern Family (2009). She won four Emmy Awards between the years 2010 and 2013 for Outstanding Supporting Actress for the Comedy Series. Sofia lives in Los Angeles, California with her son Manolo.
